Suicide.—Edward J. Truen, residing in Brooklyn, N. Y., shot himself with a pistol on Monday evening last. He was conversing with his wife at the time, and explaining how a neighbor named Savage had killed himself about a year since, suited the action to the word and discharged the contents of the pistol into his brains. He lingered for several hours before he died. He was sickly and unable to work more than three days in a week, and being fearful that he should come to want, grew desponding and killed himself.
