TWO COMPANIES FILE BONDS

Taximeter Ordinance Will Be Enforced, Says Mayor Corwine.

The bonds of the Yellow Cab company and the Black and White Taxicab company were received and approved today by the city commission, and instructions issued for the meters on their cabs to be tested and licenses issued in recognition of the city ordinance requiring all taxicabs to be equipped with taximeters.

No other bonds were presented for approval this morning, City Attorney Ralph T. O'Neil said.

"We will start the enforcement of the ordinance by the arrest of the drivers who do not comply with it as soon as practicable," Mayor Herbert J. Corwine said this morning.
