N. R. Henderson, Sheriff
In a review of this character telling about the local business and industrial progress of this section, we want to call your attention to these people who are giving their best in the conduct of responsible positions. Mr. Henderson, our present sheriff, is conducting his department with a minimum of expense to the taxpayers, yet with the greatest of efficiency.
He has used rare tact and good judgment in the conduct of this, one of the most responsible positions in the county. Mr. Henderson's experience makes him eminently fitted for the position he now so ably fills for the general good of the community.
No duties are more exacting than are required of the men holding the position of county sheriff. As the chief law enforcement officer of the county, the sheriff has a wide range of responsibility. His office handles criminal and civil papers issued out of the district court, also serves all papers out of the county court.
In Sheriff Henderson we have a man of much experience in office, one who has not only shown an effort to serve conscientiously at all times, but in addition his office has achieved an impartial fairness of administration which takes every action above reproach.
