Rev. J. H. Cox, pastor of the Liberty Street M. E. Church, will be transferred to Laclede, Mo.
Mr. and Mrs. William Wright are in St. Louis consulting physicians regarding Mrs. Wright's health.

Mac Botts, who has been attending a medical college in St. Louis, is in Mexico and will remain until June.
Mrs. Willis and family are arranging to move to Columbia, Mo., to reside.
We regret very much to have them leave.
Miss Laura Beatty, who teaches at the Sims school house near Thompson, spent Sunday the guest of I. C. French.
Dr. Purinton, who committed suicide in St. Louis Saturday night, formerly lived in Columbia and was well known in Mexico.
Mrs. O. K. Brown has returned after a several weeks' stay at the Mayfield Sanitarium, St. Louis. She is much improved in health.
Chas. Gregg was in Mexico Monday and Tuesday preparing his goods for shipment to Fulton. Charlie says he is doing a good business there.
F. N. Frost was up from Vandalia Monday and says that, in addition to the starting of the brick works there, E. G. Burklin will start his flour mill. It being the only one in that part of the county.

Word has been received here of the serious illness of Mrs. B. F. Sneed, of Nevada, Mo., formerly Miss Cordie Bradley, of this place. Her many friends here trust she will recover.
R. R. Buckner, of Auxvasse, who with his family, visited his brother, Tom, in Kansas City last week, returned home Sunday. His family will remain in Kansas City several days.
