Full Text

NEW-YORK, March 15.

Some time past, as a certain man was crossing Hudson's-River, between N. York and Albany, on the Ice, having in his hand a bottle of the good creature, he fell in, bottle and all, but fortunately got out again, when, missing his bottle he like a resolute hero, boldly ventured his life, by diving after the same, which he got, and safely took it home to regale his spirits with. A rare instance of courage and love to the juice of the vine. However unaccountable this may appear, it is a fact; and can be proved by several that saw it acted.
