LONDON, April 15.

YESTERDAY afternoon a very extraordinary accident happened near the Bank side coffee house, by London-bridge, where a hackney coach having set down a fare close to the causeway, a narrow pass, in backing the coach to turn about, the horse lost footing and plunged into the Thames with the coach, and the tide running up very strong drove them about thirty yards, when both carriage and horses sunk and were seen no more; the coachman saved himself by jumping upon a lighter just before the coach sunk.
