Full Text

The most recent French prints say, that the Emperor does not appear at all sanguine in favor of the emigrants from France, whom he has strictly prohibited from assembling in armed bodies in any part of his dominions. They have been obliged to quit Coblentz, and every other part of the electorate of Treves, not from any ill will of the elector to their cause, but out of fear of feeling the resentment of France. The elector of Mentz has treated them in the same manner. The prince of Conde, with a body of 2500 adherents took refuge at or near Strasbourg but the cardinal de Rohan, to whom the place belongs, found himself under a necessity of giving orders to disperse them.
