Virginia Candidates for the Presidency.—The citizens of the "Old Dominion" are entering at this early day, and with unusual ardor in a contest for the next Presidency.— Three candidates are already in the field.— Since the nomination of Benj. W. Leigh by the citizens of Mecklenburg county, the friends of Philip P. Barbour have put him in the lists "as the man," and the Kanawha Banner has announced Chapman Johnson to be "the candidate more emphatically for Western Virginia." Truly if our next President comes not from the "Old Dominion" it will not be for want of men.
