DENVER-Gen. Eisenhower Saturday charged the Democratic party's nominees for President and Vice President are offered to the nation on a "one-plank platform - defense of the entire administration record."
GOV. STEVENSON
The republican presidential candidate telephoned his comments on the choice of governor Stevenson and senator Sparkman as democratic standard bearers from his vacation retreat in the Colorado rockies.
In a statement released by his Denver headquarters, Eisenhower, declared:
"I am confident the American people will support the program that senator Nixon and I will outline during the campaign to retain and expand American progress and, in organizing for a lasting peace, make our country a healthier, stronger and better America than anything we have yet known."
THE GENERAL'S ATTACK
Meanwhile, a top Eisenhower Lieutenant sounded what reportedly will be the theme of the General's attack on his democratic opponent for the presidency.
