General Jackson—The Louisville (Ky.) Public Advertiser, of the 10th inst. says—We are informed that Gen. Jackson will set out from the Hermitage for Washington City, about the 20th inst. Should the Ohio River be open and navigable by steam boats, he will pass through Louisville, and ascend the river to Wheeling or Pittsburgh; otherwise he will travel through Virginia to Washington. If the weather should continue cold, he will necessarily be constrained to take the last mentioned route.
