I hate her as the corner stone of despotic oppression. I execrate her as the murderer of my country.-
Whether I look at my children, the homeless wanderers in the desert of exile. the tender plants my weary, hands and my weatherbeaten breast can scarcely contrive to shield from the chilling storm : whether my soul flying to the land of my birth, my dear, my beloved Hungary: whether I meditate as a member of Europe's great community, or feel in the sublime capacity of man, curse, revenge. execration on the Czar, are mingled with my feelings, with my thoughts.
