Results
Results of the annual ASC community elections which were tabulated recently were announced this week by the Madison ASC county office.
A total of 431 ballots were cast in the various townships. This was 86 more than cast in last year's ASC elections in the county.
Newly elected chairmen and vice chairmen of the community committees will serve as delegates and alternate delegates to the county ASC convention August 27 in London. The principal business of the convention will be the election of a county ASC committee chairman, vice chairman, regular member and two alternate members.
The one-year term of all newly elected county and community committeemen will begin on September 1.
A complete list of newly elected community committeemen follows:
Canaan township: Chairman Bill Wilson; Vice Chairman Frank Roby and Regular member - Warren Harbage.
Darby township: Chairman Robert Patterson; V. Chairman John Rihl and Regular member E. N. Orr.
Deercreek township: Chairman - Philip Ferguson; V. Chairman George McMurray and Regular member - Ray Plymell.
Fairfield township: Chairman Winifred Truitt; V. Chairman Robert L. Keye and Regular member - C. W. Bricker.
Jefferson township: Chairman Auburn Braithwaite; V. Chairman - Richard Thomas and Regular member - Evans Elliott.
Monroe township: Chairman Dwight Williams; V. Chairman Donald Becker and Regular member Paul Sullivan.
Oak Run Township: Chairman Emmett Morris; V. Chairman Harvey Pickens and Regular member - Francis Holland.
Paint township: Chairman - Max Dunkle; V. Chairman - Harford Turvy and Regular member Robert McFadden.
