Believing that his brother had passed away, Joshua Tingley, a harness maker, who was in the employ of H. A. McKim in Eureka for several years, and who died at Hamilton June 11, 1902, left all his property to Constable Dave McLean of Ely. The Ely Expositor of July 13 says the chief assets of his estate consists of $179 in the ill-fated Eureka County Bank, together with other personal property of a nominal value. A petition for the probate of the will left by the late Joshua Tingley and the issuance of letters of administration of the estate was filed in the clerk's office to-day by Mr. McLean. Mr. Tingley leaves a brother, Bedford Tingley, who is engaged in the Granite mining district in Steptoe Valley, White Pine County.
