By the Stage driver from Prairie du Chien, last evening we were informed, that an express had just arrived at that place from Fort Snelling, with news of the murder, by a band of Sisseton Indians, of ten of the detachment of Dragoons lately sent out from Fort Atkinson, for the purpose of ferreting out the perpetrators of the late murders in that quarter.— The Sissetons are a small band of outcasts, that formerly belonged to the Sioux, that live by robbery and murder; and are dreaded by all the other tribes in that quarter.
