A convention of representative Irishmen is to be held in Dublin April 14 to consider and advise on the land bill and other matters affecting the Irish people. It will undoubtedly be the most noted gathering of Irishmen ever held, since not only all classes and parties in Ireland will be represented, but Irishmen from other countries have been invited. It is to be sincerely regretted that the Hon. W. Bourke Cockran can not attend, as probably no other man from the United States so well represents and can so clearly express the real Irish-American sentiment.
