Full Text

Mr. Henry Fry, the purchaser of the Marine Railway Company's property, has now a force of hands busily at work overhauling and repairing the Saw Mill. In about two weeks the Mill will be ready for sawing, when Mr. Fry will turn his attention to the building of the docks. This work has long been needed at this point, and we are glad to know that this property has fallen into the hands of a man, who is possessed of the energy and ability to put it through. With the safe harbor the Kanawha affords, the depth of water, &c., this enterprise cannot but be a successful undertaking to the proprietor, and a lasting benefit to our town. We hope our citizens will extend to Mr. Fry every encouragement.
