APPEAL MADE
By Mr. Ford to the State Public Service Commission for Relief.

The Charleston newspapers of Monday published the following of interest here:

Suffering from a shortage of gas, the people of Clarksburg have appealed to the public service commission for relief.

A telegram received from W. T. Ford, of Clarksburg, by President E. F. Morgan, of the public service commission, says:

"The people of Clarksburg are suffering on account of the supply of gas furnished by the Clarksburg Light and Heat Company. Can't you assist in getting relief?"

President Morgan wired the gas company that "Every effort to relieve the situation is expected regardless of expense."
