RAWLINS WILL HAVE NEW IRON FOUNDRY

One of the most important developments of the past week is the word just received by the Rawlins Board of Trade to the effect that William Gilbert, of Ada, Okla., has definitely decided to operate a foundry and machine shop in this city, says the Rawlins Republican.

The location of such an enterprise here is of great importance to Rawlins. For a number of years there has been an insistent demand for a foundry and machine shop in this section of the state - particularly is this true of the numerous oil companies now operating in the neighboring oil fields.

Mr. Gilbert has already completed arrangements with the city for a site to the south of the fairgrounds and will soon be ready to start the construction of the buildings necessary for the housing of the foundry and machine shops.
