PASADENA, Calif., Nov. 17. — Fire destroyed the warehouse and plant of the Ambler Grain and Milling Company and for a time threatened the Santa Fe station at Lamanda Park early today.
Damage to the Ambler plant, which is the largest chicken feed manufacturing plant in Southern California, was estimated at $100,000.
The fire started in the lemon packing plant of James Vosberg and quickly spread. The Santa Fe station was saved after flames had scorched it.
Loss at the Vosberg plant was estimated at $10,000.
Cause of the fire was undetermined.
