Many old-timers will be interested in the news recently received in Montana that Chic Grimsley, early day trapper and guide of the Dupuyer and Choteau areas, had died in Chicago, and the body is being brought back to Choteau for burial.

Grimsley operated for years as guide for hunting parties into the mountains from Glacier Park station to Augusta, and was one of the picturesque characters of northern Montana. Funeral services were held in Choteau, and burial was in the cemetery of that city.
