UAW Signs Agreement With Milwaukee Firm

MILWAUKEE, June 10 United Automobile Workers' Local 336 reports an agreement signed with officials of the Lindemann & Hoverson company stove makers, which will affect 1,125 employees at that plant.

The agreement provides recognition of the union as sole bargaining agent for its members; a 10 per cent wage increase with individual adjustments; time and one-half for overtime in excess of an eight-hour day, 40-hour week; overtime for Saturdays, Sundays and holidays; the establishment of a grievance committee, and vacations with pay depending on the length of service. The contract is to be in effect for one year.
