Burglary.—We learn from the Fort Atkinson Herald that the store of Hopkins & Willard was broken into during the night, and a few hundred dollars' worth of goods are supposed to have been stolen. Diligent search for the goods and thief was made next morning, and about $100 worth of goods were found buried in a manure heap by the side of the Green Mountain House barn, and a few pieces in an old building near by. A shiftless looking man about 35 or 40 years of age, was caught early the next morning sleeping on the manure pile where the goods were hidden. He was arrested and lodged in jail at Jefferson.
