We have the following melancholy Account from South Wraxall in Wilts, viz. That on Tuesday last Three Men of that Parish (Two Brothers and a Cousin,) having undertaken to clean a Well, One of them went down to see in what Condition it was, and was no sooner got towards the Bottom, but he cried for Help; upon this his Brother went down to see what was the Matter, but he likewise called for Assistance; as did their Cousin, who went down last; and they were heard no more: After which no body caring to venture down, they were drawn up dead, and buried in one Grave the Thursday following. What the Occasion of their Death was is as yet unknown, tho' 'tis generally believed they were suffocated.
