Bay City Railway.—The citizens of Bay City propose to have a railroad built to intersect with the Flint & Pere Marquette Railway at this place. A meeting was held on the 28th inst., for the purpose of taking preliminary steps, committee appointed to solicit subscription, and the following resolution adopted:
Resolved, That a committee be appointed to visit Lansing at the approaching session of the Legislature to ask that an act be passed enabling the Board of Supervisors of Bay County to issue the bonds of said county to a certain amount, to apply in the construction of a Railroad from Bay City to East Saginaw.
James Birney, J. M. Fitzhugh, James Frazer and Wm. A. Bryco were appointed said committee.
