John Langdon moderated. Joseph Badger Jr. won the replacement seat with 198 votes. For the four seats, Nahum Parker, Joseph Badger Jr., Levi Bartlet, and Michael McClary each received over 200 votes.

PORTS MOUTH, AUGUST 26.

Yesterday the inhabitants of this town assembled in town meeting for the purpose of voting for a Representative to Congress, in place of Mr. Gordon resigned, to take his seat at the next session; likewise to vote for four suitable persons to represent this State two years in the Congress of the United States from March next.

The Hon. JOHN LANGDON, Esq. presided as Moderator.

At the close of the poll the votes stood as follows;
