October 12. A letter from Barbadoes gives advice, that the African Prince, a French ship that was lading on the coast of Guinea, and had got near 200 slaves on board, that they rose upon the crew and murdered them all but the captain and two of his men, who escaped in their boat, and landed at Goree, where they found the garrison in a starving condition; that the few convicts that were sent out from England, had been turned loose, having no provision to give them; that three women, one in years, perished for want. The French Captain and his two men got a passage on board a slave ship, which brought them to Barbadoes.
