A NOBLE ORDER.

The B'ni Brith Will Have a Lodge in the City.

Butte, Dec. 27.—A local lodge of the order of B'ni Brith will soon be organized in Butte. A meeting was held in Dr. A. G. Cohn's office this afternoon looking toward that end, and was largely attended by the Jewish residents. A. Gallick was chosen chairman, and it was decided to apply for a charter and to have the grand organizer come from San Francisco to organize the lodge. The order of B'ni Brith is composed chiefly of Jewish residents of America, and is a very powerful organization. It is beneficiary in character, and provides for the care of its members in case of want or sickness, and at death it gives the member burial. In the insurance, or what is termed the widows and orphan's fund, is a surplus of $1,000,000. Another meeting will be held next Sunday.
