Band to Appear at P. H. S. in Uniform

The newly organized Putnam High School band will appear in uniform for the first time Thursday during the activities' period at Putnam High. The band will play for a political rally, a feature of which will be a straw vote on the coming Presidential election.

Twenty-six members and a student conductor, Miss Miriam Saretzki, will appear, under the direction of Miss Rhona Perkins, music supervisor, who organized the band.

The band's uniforms consist of blue capes lined with grey and lettered with the initials P. H. S. in blue. The caps are blue with white visors and lettered in white. The trousers are white.

The band will play for football games and at other events at Putnam High School.
