The commencement season for Gammon Theological Seminary will begin Sunday, May 23 and extend through May 25. Twelve students are candidates for graduation.
Bishop Robert E. Jones of the Methodist Episcopal church will deliver the baccalaureate sermon May 23 in Crozer Chapel at 3:30 p.m. The ordination service with communion will be conducted the following morning.
The annual alumni luncheon annual alumni business meeting and the president's reception to trustees, faculty, alumni and students will occupy the major portion of the following day.
The graduation exercises will take place at 10 A. M. on May 25 in the Gammon Chapel. Bishop Adna W. Leonard will deliver the commencement address.
Nine will be awarded the degree of bachelor of divinity. They were J. D. Foy, F. D. Freeman, J. L. Garrison, C. F. Golden, J. F. Grimmett, C. S. H. Hunter, Jr., M. P. Johnson, S. J. Laws and F. C. Wharry.
Henry C. Moore will receive a seminary diploma, and C. H. Hightower and Rose Mae Withers will be awarded the degree of bachelor of religious education.
