CONSTANTINOPLE, July 26.
On board the French ship captured on her voyage from Alexandria to France, were six officers and some private soldiers whom General Menou, partly on account of their misconduct, and partly for other reasons, had sent home. A short time before this ship was captured by the English, a quarrel broke out, between the officers and crew, from causes not yet known, in consequence of which all the officers were murdered. After the death of the officers, the captain of the ship, who had no share in the mutiny, got possession of the dispatches, which, with the ship and crew, fell into the hands of the English.
