CHOLERA IN LEXINGTON.—The Lexington Observer of the 27th ult., reports five deaths of cholera in that town since the 23d—three negroes and two whites: the latter were a son of Mr. David K. Brisby and an old laboring man named James Baird.

The Observer learns of a good many persons in the country suffering with the premonitory symptoms, but has heard of no deaths except that of a negro woman. The cases under treatment were not dangerous.

Among the persons attacked were three of the candidates for the convention—Messrs. Woolley, Shy and R. N. Wickliffe. The former had entirely recovered and the two latter were recovering.
