It's said, this Affair was revived at the Visit the King made to the Prince of Orange, who sounded his Prussian Majesty thereupon. The King's Answer to this was couched in such Terms as demonstrated his Approbation of the Proposition: Since which, it has been reported, that a Minister in a publick Character will be sent from London to Berlin to treat upon this Subject, and to execute another Commission, as well in Relation to East-Friefland, as to re-establish a good Harmony and Understanding between the two Courts.
This last seems now more immediately necessary, since the Protestant Interest is in so much Danger, from the strict Union of the Emperor, with the King of France.

Event Details
Since the Prussian King's journey to Loo, talks of marriage between the second Prince of Prussia and Princess Amelia, second daughter of the King of Great-Britain, have resumed in Berlin. The proposal was revived during the King's visit to the Prince of Orange, who broached the topic; the King's response showed approval. A public minister will be dispatched from London to Berlin to negotiate the marriage, address East-Friesland, and re-establish harmony between the courts, especially urgent given the Protestant interest's danger from the Emperor's union with the King of France.
