When the Lords of the Admiralty dismissed the Complainants of the Fortune Sloop of War, against some of the Officers, a noble Lord of that Board made Use of the following Words: My Lads, go about your Business, and whilst I have the Honour to preside at this Board, you and all other British Seamen may depend on my Assistance and Protection. At the same Time a Court Martial was ordered to be held on Board the Monarch Man of War, Admiral Hawke President, to enquire into the Cause of the Complaint.
