At the regular monthly meeting of the directors of the Maine Central Railroad, held in Portland on Thursday evening, it was announced that four stockholders owning five shares, and residing at Kendall's Mills where the parties who, it has been said, had brought a bill in equity to obtain an injunction against the road building the bridge at Waterville.

The reason these parties allege is that the company is spending their money illegally while the company claim the real reason that these parties desire the road to be built through Kendall's Mills which the Waterville bridge will prevent.

The other side say as Kendall's Mills subscribed over one hundred thousand dollars toward building the road, they feel that they should have had a hearing before the bridge was located.

The hearing will be held in Skowhegan in the course of a fortnight.
