Norman McFadden Naval Aviator

Norman McFadden, son of W. A. McFadden, assessor-collector for the Imperial Irrigation District, and Mrs. McFadden, left this week for San Pedro where he has been assigned duty as a naval aviator aboard the U.S.S. Nevada.

Young McFadden is a graduate of the navy flying school at Pensacola, Florida, and has the distinction of being the only Imperial Valley resident to attend the school and to complete the course.

Since graduation he has been visiting his parents and his friends in Brawley. He is a graduate of Brawley high school and junior college, having also attended San Jose State for one year.
