Edwin C. Day, who lives at Lacarne and is procedure writer at EOD, came in for tribute on a recent radio broadcast from WTAM when the announcer mentioned his services as a band leader for 17 years at Bedford Gienns, Cleveland, and wondered why, with such a successful background, he decided to work elsewhere. The announcer evidently was unaware that Mr. Day's musical career terminated as the result of a tragic accident one night while returning home from conducting the orchestra at the famous night spot.
