Baptist.—At their late meeting in Taunton, the Baptists of Massachusetts adopted a report recommending immediate action for the relief of their superannuated and disabled ministers. The report says: "It is a painful fact that there are some twenty-five ministers of our denomination who have rendered good service to the cause of Christ, who are known to be in destitute circumstances, and needing the assistance of their more favored brethren to keep their tables supplied, and their persons clothed, and the fire upon their hearth burning. Some of these are suffering from sickness as well as from poverty, and some have wives and children to share their trials with them."
