The intruder, becoming frightened at the recent audacity of the rebels in polluting his soil, taking his salt works, &c., recently made a visit to Cincinnati in his "Scotch cap," for the purpose of getting aid to punish the audacious and impertinent rebels. He was met with the happy intelligence, that every available man was needed for the same purpose in Maryland and Kentucky; but as soon as that was finished, he should have immediate assistance to accomplish his purpose. With this happy consolation, he has returned home, no doubt feeling much easier in mind and body.
