Full Text

TUESDAY, 29th January, 1788.

An advertisement having appeared in this day's Paper, in which Mr. Blair M'Clenachan is mentioned as late of the city of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, and as an absent Debtor---
This notice is given to the person who published that advertisement, and to every other person concerned, that Mr. M'Clenachan not only was, but still is, a merchant, a man of property, and an inhabitant of Philadelphia, the only part of America in which he ever resided; and any person having just claims upon him, may have a legal remedy, by an application there. The author of this notice gives it principally to remove any groundless suspicions or ideas which the advertisement may occasion, concerning a worthy citizen of the United States, whose person and property have often been risked in their service.
