Negroes Acting As Instructors In War Plants

Negroes are being trained as job instructors in war plants which employ large numbers of negroes for war production, the war manpower commission announced this week.

Job instructors training programs are being conducted in more than 6,500 war production plants employing more than 6,000,000 men and women. More than 320,000 supervisors, industrial foremen and crew chiefs have been certified as war production job instructors, and the announced goal of 335,000 trainees by the end of 1942 was reached.
