The anti-masonic Convention to nominate candidates for President and Vice-President of the U. States, was to assemble at Baltimore yesterday. It is the opinion of the editor of the New-York Commercial Advertiser, that the Hon. John M'Lean, late Post-Master General, will be the candidate for the Presidency. He says, that "a correspondence has been carried on for some time past, between that gentleman and the leaders of the anti-masonic party, which we learn has resulted in a pledge to accept the nomination should it be tendered to him—as it almost to a certainty will be."
