INTERESTING INQUIRY.

Rev. Mr. Tyler—Sir: The Bible affords abundant evidence of the ministration of Angels—they are ministering spirits, sent forth to minister to them who shall be heirs of salvation; and under the old dispensation, Abraham, and Lot, and others, were objects of their special ministrations. But query: Have the spirits of just men made perfect in Heaven, any intercourse with the inhabitants of this world, or any more a portion forever in any thing that is done under the sun? or are departed spirits included in the term Angels, which literally signifies messengers? and do these bear messages, and minister to the living in this world?

Mr. Editor, I have outlived nearly all my cotemporaries, and many who were my dearest connections in life, are now in the world of spirits; and my mind is often drawn to the aforesaid queries, in which I am not alone—thousands of others in like circumstances having the same feelings and desire to know the truth. I therefore send you this to publish, and to request you, or some of your correspondents, to write and publish in the Observer, a disquisition on the foregoing questions. And as we are dependent on revelation for our knowledge of the world of spirits, I hope the reasoning on the subject may have that for its basis.
