COSTUME SUIT . . . Sophisticated spring outfit in gray barathea-weave worsted by Hockanum, with blouse and coat lining of plaid taffeta. Coat, which may be worn separately, has drop-shoulder.

NEW COAT SILHOUETTES . . . The loose back-belted wing-sleeve coat by Vera Maxwell (left) has lining and dress of striped wool jersey; the nightshirt coat by Ellen Brooks has dolman sleeves, patch pockets. Both in Hockanum's yarn-dyed flannel.

PALE GABARDINE . . . This is important in the spring suit picture, done in beige worsted gabardine with soft tailored jacket and pencil-slim skirt.

FLANNEL FAVORITES . . . Town coat-dress at left and youthful suit at right are slated for top Easter honors, in yarn-dyed gray flannel. Suit has fitted single-breasted jacket with knit plaid trim, is made of flannel by Stevens.
