CHANCES LEFT YET
Laboring Man Named for Representative at Cordell.

Guthrie, O. T., Oct. 4—There is still chance yet for a young man of ability in Oklahoma. The following from the Cordell Herald-Sentinel will prove it:

The Republican representative convention which met in the court house last Friday afternoon, placed in nomination for representative C. S. Weed, young man who has for the past summer been working on a farm out in the country against his will to an elimination by art and has been admitted to the practice of law in his native state but having sold up applied for admission in the territory as the necessity for something to do forced him to get a hustle. He came to Cordell in the employ of the Bee Hive Company as time-keeper, and gave such good satisfaction that he was made manager. Desiring to return to Cordell he is young men of more than ordinary ability, good judgment and considerable force, and if elected there is no doubt but he will make the people of Washita county good representative. A vote for Mr. Weed is a vote for the laboring man and farmers interests.
