A Letter from Glasgow mentions that Doctor Wilson, Professor of Astronomy in that University, who in August had transmitted to Copenhagen a Latin Version of a Paper containing an accurate Account of his Observations of the Solar Spots, and of the curious Discovery to which he was led in Consequence of them, has had the Honour of receiving a Letter from his Excellency the Danish Ambassador at this Court, acquainting him that the Royal Academy of Sciences at Copenhagen has adjudged to him the Prize Medal of last Year, for his Dissertation on that Subject.
