Last Wednesday the Commissioners for building the Bridge at Westminster, met, and examined several Proposals for laying the Foundation of the Bridge, and Models of the Machines to be employed for that Purpose,
and came to several Resolutions thereupon; but being inform'd, that the Season of the Year was too far advanc'd to begin a Work of that Consequence, thought proper to adjourn their next Meeting to the first Wednesday in February, soon after which they will begin the building of the Bridge.
