Full Text

The Bowie Convention.

Mr. William H. Ferguson writes to inform The National Republican that it was in error in saying that Grant delegates were elected at Bowie Station on Monday. He says, "They were all for Sherman." As a representative of The Republican was at Bowie soon after the convention adjourned and had his information from a prominent member of the convention, a correction is scarcely in order in advance of the action of the delegates in convention. Then The Republican will know whether or not it has been misinformed.
