New Hampshire Legislature.
Concord, June 19. In convention of the
two houses for the election of State Treasurer
and State Printer, this forenoon, the
balloting was as follows:
For Treasurer.
Asa A. Tufts, 1
Robert F. Webster, 113
Peter Sanborn, 196
For Printer,
Wm. Butterfield, 110
Henry McFarland, 189
The committee reported the Portsmouth
railroad bill this morning with some amendments, unanimously.
Mr. Collins of Exeter, moved the postponement of the consideration of the bill
until to-morrow at 11 A. M. Pending the
discussion of the motion, Mr. Wheeler
called for the regular order of the day-the
elections. After the elections, at 12 o'clock,
the House adjourned.
