Pocketbook Charge

Police yesterday were seeking a
woman believed to have snatched
a pocketbook containing $33 from
an East Point man late Thursday
in a Northside Dr. tavern.

The victim, identified as James
King, of 613 Walker St. East Point,
Ga., complained that the woman
snatched his purse after "playing
around' in the tavern, located on
Northside Dr. near Trenholm St.
S.W.

Police said attempts were made
to apprehend the woman at her
home and at the place she allegedly
worked, but she did not visit
either.
