Madison—After a diligent search extending over a year or more, the heirs of Theodore Peterson, a former wealthy resident of Lake county, who died some time ago, have been found. The deceased was a bachelor and failed to leave a will. Nothing could be found among his papers regarding his relatives, and it became necessary for the county authorities to commence a search for them. One of the chief actors in this search was Hans Urdahl, a well known Madison attorney, who some time after the death of Peterson, was appointed administrator of the part of his estate in South Dakota. One of the relatives of the dead man proves to be Ellert Peterson, of Brooklyn, N. Y., who is a brother. There also are other brothers and several sisters. Three of the heirs live in the United States and seven in Norway. Peterson, at the time of his death was owner of a large amount of Lake county farm land, which now commands a high price and had also accumulated a great deal of other property.
